With more than 25 years of experience in both the public sector and international law firms, Vinh is an expert in M&A, banking and finance, real estate, energy, hospitality, insurance, fintech, arbitration, and other corporate/commercial matters.
Vinh's deep knowledge of Vietnamese laws adds significant value to Indochine Counsel. Vinh's exceptional legal credentials include his appointment as an arbitrator for the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) in 2012. In addition, he was elected as the Chairperson of the Vietnam Business Lawyers Club (VBLC) for the 2022 term. Before joining Indochine Counsel, Vinh served as a partner at Tilleke & Gibbins and a legal consultant at Mayer Brown JSM in Ho Chi Minh city.
Vinh holds an LLB from Vietnam National University, Hanoi (1994), an LLM from Nagoya University (Japan) (2003), and a Doctor of Juridical Science from Meiji Gakuin University (Japan) (2006). He is an adjunct lecturer at Vietnam's Judicial Academy and Ho Chi Minh City's University of Law, providing counsel to numerous government ministries in Vietnam. Vinh is a regular contributor to several business and legal journals and magazines, such as the Legislative Study Journal and the Saigon Times.
Vinh's impressive language skills in English complement his legal expertise, making him a valuable asset to Indochine Counsel's clients.
