Indochine Counsel was pleased to participate in Solar & Storage Live Vietnam 2026, reaffirming the firm’s commitment to supporting the development of Vietnam’s renewable energy sector through practical, commercially focused legal advice.
As part of the conference programme, Mr. Pham Viet Tuan, Partner | Head of Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Real Estate & Construction at Indochine Counsel, joined the panel discussion, “What Do C&I Customers Demand from DPPAs Bundled with BESS?” The session brought together industry experts to examine the evolving legal, regulatory, and commercial considerations surrounding Direct Power Purchase Agreements (DPPAs) integrated with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

As moderator of the session, Mr. Pham Viet Tuan guided the discussion by raising key legal and commercial considerations surrounding DPPAs bundled with BESS. Drawing on his legal expertise, he facilitated an engaging exchange among the panellists on the evolving regulatory framework, contractual structures, and practical issues shaping renewable energy adoption by commercial and industrial (C&I) consumers in Vietnam. Throughout the discussion, particular emphasis was placed on the importance of bankable project structures and regulatory certainty in supporting Vietnam’s energy transition and strengthening energy resilience.
