Flexible working during COVID-19

The recent fourth wave of Covid-19 infections has come to Ho Chi Minh City where Indochine Counsel’s main office is located. With a large number of cases recorded at the end of last week on Sunday, 30 May 2021, the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee has imposed social distancing in the city starting from 31 May and lasting for two weeks in accordance with the Government’s Directive 15.

Most of the city will be obligated to suspend social events, ban gatherings of 20 people or more in one place and of 10 people or more outside workplaces, schools and hospitals and maintain a minimum distance of two meters between people in public places. As the situation is more dire in two districts, Go Vap and District 12 will be additionally required to not gather more than two people in public and to only leave home for emergencies, buying food and medicine, and working in factories, production facilities and businesses that involve “essential” goods and services.

In order to cooperate with the authorities and promote the rapid resolution of this fourth wave, Indochine Counsel has instituted its own social distancing for the next two weeks. Most of our staff are working from home while certain are on duty. We continue to offer our full range of services. We are also available through e-mails, online meetings, and conference calls.

We hope that this new wave of infections will be contained quickly and that we can resume our normal activities soon. Until then, we remain at your service and look forward to working with you. Stay safe and healthy !
