Indochine Counsel Participates in LFN Annual Conference 2026 in Hangzhou

Ho Chi Minh City, 25 May 2026

Indochine Counsel was pleased to participate in The Law Firm Network (LFN) Annual Conference 2026, held from 20–24 May 2026 in Hangzhou, China, and hosted by MHP Law Firm.

The conference brought together member firms from across jurisdictions for professional sessions, regional discussions, and networking activities under the theme “Where Tradition Inspires Innovation”. The theme reflected Hangzhou’s unique position as both a historic cultural centre and a global hub of technological innovation.

Representing Indochine Counsel at the conference was Mr. Dang The Duc, Managing Partner of the firm.

Sharing Vietnam’s Evolving Investment Landscape

On the first day of the conference, Mr. Duc joined the professional session as a panelist, sharing insights on “Doing Business in Vietnam: Evolving Investment Landscape”.

His presentation provided an overview of Vietnam’s latest policy reforms, legal updates, and business opportunities for foreign investors and cross-border businesses. Key areas covered included:

  • Private sector development and legal administrative reforms;
  • Inward and outward investment procedures;
  • Business registration and compliance requirements;
  • Banking, finance, capital markets, and fintech;
  • Technology, data, digital assets, and personal data protection; and
  • Vietnam’s emerging role in regional investment and cross-border business activity.

As Vietnam continues to strengthen its legal and regulatory framework, businesses are increasingly looking for practical legal guidance that combines local knowledge with cross-border coordination. Indochine Counsel’s participation in the session reflected the firm’s commitment to supporting international clients, investors, and businesses operating in Vietnam and across the Asia-Pacific region.

Gala Dinner Keynote by Managing Partner Dang The Duc

On the final evening of the conference, Mr. Duc was invited to deliver the keynote speech at the Gala Dinner.

In his remarks, Mr. Duc reflected on Indochine Counsel’s long-standing connection with LFN. This year is particularly meaningful for the firm as Indochine Counsel celebrates its 20th anniversary, with nearly 15 years of connection with The Law Firm Network.

Mr. Duc noted that Vietnam has become one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic markets, with increasing demand for legal advice that is not only technically sound, but also commercially connected across borders. He also emphasized that in a world of regulatory divergence and market uncertainty, a trusted legal network is not merely efficient — it is strategic.

The keynote also highlighted the importance of professional relationships, trusted partnerships, and long-term collaboration among independent law firms. As Mr. Duc shared, no firm grows in isolation; sustainable growth is built on trusted partnerships.

Strengthening Global Connections for Cross-Border Legal Work

For Indochine Counsel, participation in LFN forms part of the firm’s broader commitment to building trusted international connections and delivering commercially practical legal advice to clients doing business in Vietnam.

Through its connection with LFN, Indochine Counsel continues to engage with independent law firms across jurisdictions, supporting clients whose business needs extend beyond a single market. This is increasingly important as cross-border transactions, regional investment structures, data governance, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution require seamless coordination among legal advisors in multiple jurisdictions.

Indochine Counsel extends its sincere thanks to The Law Firm Network, MHP Law Firm, and the organizing team for the thoughtful organization, warm hospitality, and meaningful exchange throughout the conference.
