Ho Chi Minh City, 28 August 2026

On 26 August 2026, Indochine Counsel was pleased to participate in a special half-day programme held during Singapore Convention Week at the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore, hosted by the Asian Business Law Institute (ABLI) and HCCH Choice of Court Convention to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of ABLI and the HCCH Choice of Court Convention.

Representing Indochine Counsel and Vietnam, Mr. Pham Viet Tuan, Partner | Head of Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Real Estate & Construction, participated as a panelist in the session “A ‘Cradle to Grave’ Review of Digital Assets Disputes in ASEAN”.

Mr. Pham Viet Tuan (standing at the far left) with fellow panelists in the “A ‘Cradle to Grave’ Review of Digital Assets Disputes in ASEAN” session.

The panel brought together legal practitioners and regional experts from Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam to examine the evolving landscape of digital asset disputes across ASEAN. The discussion addressed key issues throughout the lifecycle of such disputes, including:

  • Litigation strategy, asset tracing and preservation
  • Digital asset valuation and enforcement challenges
  • Cross-border enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards
  • Emerging insolvency issues involving digital assets

The discussion highlighted the increasingly cross-border nature of digital asset disputes and the need for effective coordination across jurisdictions. As digital assets continue to develop and become more closely integrated into commercial activities, businesses and legal practitioners must consider not only regulatory requirements but also practical issues surrounding dispute resolution, asset recovery and enforcement.

Mr. Tuan’s participation reflects Indochine Counsel’s continued engagement with emerging issues in digital assets and cross-border dispute resolution, as well as the Firm’s commitment to contributing to regional legal dialogue and the development of Vietnam’s legal landscape.

We are pleased to have contributed to this important regional exchange alongside distinguished practitioners and experts from across ASEAN and thank ABLI and the HCCH for the opportunity to participate in Singapore Convention Week 2026.
