Indochine Counsel was pleased to participate in the VBLC Annual Retreat 2026, held in Hoi An from 7 to 9 August 2026, bringing together members of the legal community for three days of professional exchange, knowledge sharing, and meaningful connections.

The professional programme featured a series of in-depth discussions on the legal market and the future of the legal profession, covering:
- The Legal Market over the Past Year & Law Firm Management
- Key Changes under the Draft Amended Law on Lawyers and Their Impact on Legal Practice
- Vietnam’s Economic and Investment Landscape in 2026: Emerging Trends and Impacts on the Business Environment and Legal Services Market
- The Future of the Legal Profession in the Era of AI and Digital Transformation
- Legal Practice in the New Context: Practical Perspectives, Opportunities and Risk Management
- Legal Services in the Vietnam International Financial Centre (VIFC) and the Operation of Specialised Courts and the Vietnam International Financial Centre Arbitration (VIFCA)
On the following day, the programme continued with two specialised sessions covering Energy Talk and Law Firm Management, providing participants with opportunities to exchange practical perspectives, experiences, and insights on issues relevant to the legal profession.
Beyond the professional discussions, the three-day Retreat also created a relaxed setting for lawyers and legal professionals to reconnect, build new relationships, and share memorable moments outside the workplace. These interactions reflected the spirit of connection, sharing, and companionship at the heart of the Annual Retreat.
