From 27 to 28 November 2025, Indochine Counsel’s Managing Partner – Mr. Dang The Duc participated in the OECD-Asia Roundtable on Corporate Governance in Bangkok. The forum is one of the OECD’s flagship regional initiatives that promotes collaboration on corporate governance, sustainable finance, and capital-market development across Asia. This year’s edition was hosted by the OECD and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand, in cooperation with the Stock Exchange of Thailand and with long-standing support from the Government of Japan.

The two-day program brought together government officials, regulators, institutional investors, market leaders, academics, and representatives from regional corporations to discuss key governance challenges and the evolving landscape of Asian capital markets. Key themes included:
- Capital-market development and regulatory reforms in Thailand, highlighted by the launch of the OECD Capital Market Review of Thailand 2025.
- The increasing role of institutional investors and the interaction between public and private markets, shaping governance expectations and market behavior across Asia.
- The growing importance of ESG oversight, including board responsibilities, quality of sustainability disclosures, and insights from the OECD Corporate Governance Factbook 2025.
