Nguyen Trung Nghia graduated as the Valedictorian of the Faculty of Law at the University of Economics and Law (Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City) in July 2023.
Nghia joined Indochine Counsel in 2022 as a Legal Intern, advanced to Legal Assistant, and is now a Junior Associate. He specializes in privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, e-commerce, fintech, intellectual property (IP) and technology-related matters, tech M&A deals, regulatory and compliance, as well as corporate and commercial transactions.
Nghia has advised several notable clients, including international investors and domestic businesses, such as TikTok Pte Ltd. (Singapore), Amtrust North America, Inc., Truong Hai Auto Corporation, ABB Automation and Electrification (Vietnam) Company Limited, Vietnam Fiingroup JSC, Careerviet Solution JSC, Viet Idea Food & Beverages Company Limited, Kido Frozen Foods JSC, Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients Vietnam Co., Ltd., VinaCapital Group Ltd., Animation International Limited, Nirvana Asia Group, Microlife Corporation, among others.
Nghia is also the author and co-author of various publications and articles on IP and TMT, published by Indochine Counsel, Vietnam Investment Review (VIR), and the Asian Business Law Institute (ABLI).
