On 18 September 2026, Indochine Counsel hosted the 20th Anniversary Client Seminar in Ho Chi Minh City under the theme “Vietnam’s Next Growth Era: Investment Opportunities, Business Expansion and Resilience in the Age of AI”.
Marking two decades of Practical Commercial Law, the seminar brought together clients, business leaders, investors, partners and members of the wider business community for an afternoon of practical discussion on the opportunities and challenges shaping Vietnam’s next phase of development.
Two Key Conversations
The first session, Investment & Business Expansion, explored the evolving investment landscape in Vietnam and the movement of capital, FDI and M&A. Discussions focused on where new opportunities are emerging and what businesses need to consider when turning investment opportunities into executable business strategies.
The second session, Business Resilience, examined how AI, data and digital risks are changing the way businesses operate. Speakers and panelists discussed practical considerations around regulatory compliance, data protection, cybersecurity and dispute risks, with a focus on moving beyond compliance on paper towards effective operational controls.
The programme brought together legal, market and technology perspectives, with valuable contributions from FiinGroup, AesirX and Vietnam Traders Arbitration Centre (VTA), alongside speakers and panelists from Indochine Counsel’s Partners and Senior Associates.
Celebrating 20 Years of Practical Commercial Law
The seminar also marked an important milestone in our twenty-year journey. Over the past two decades, our work has been shaped by the businesses, clients and partners we have had the opportunity to work alongside, as Vietnam’s commercial and legal landscape has continued to evolve.
